Latin-American Federation of Chemical Associations- FLAQ has trusted in Colombia to organize the XXIX Latin-American Chemistry Congress-CLAQ 2010: “Chemical Industry and Natural Resources, a Worldwide Responsibility”. This event has been recognized due to its high academic level, its wide international call, for increasing the interest in chemistry among the community and its influence in various social processes as well as tightens links between Industry, Society and Academy

The city of Cartagena de Indias, La Heroica or very affectionately called Corralito de Piedra, is pleased to be the host of CLAQ 2010, this city is one of the architectural jewels of the Caribbean, proof the UNESCO declared it as a historical heritage of mankind, being the first Colombian place to be part of the World Heritage List under the name "Port, Fortresses and group of Monuments, Cartagena”.

The “Heroica” waits for you, so you can enjoy its cuisine, its folklore, the values of the habitants, as well as its architectonic and historical treasures.
